The villa is situated on the outskirts of Lasa village, in a rural part of Cyprus
and is 600 metres above sea level allowing you to enjoy a less humid climate
than the coastal areas.  This is a sleepy, community where the way of life
hasn't changed for many years; where donkeys are the main form of
transport for some and where goats and their goatherds can be seen on a
daily basis.  The village has a small shop / post office and a coffee shop
where you can while away the time chatting and watching the world go by.

Lasa is in the hills of the Paphos District between Paphos Town and Polis and
is ideally located to explore many places of interest.  The nearby village of
Fyti is worth a visit as it houses one of the few remaining weaving museums
on the island.  Here you can still witness this ancient craft being produced,
learn some of its history and maybe purchase a genuine souvenir of your
stay. You can stop at the local tavern by the lovely church or explore the
labyrinth of streets.  Polis is a small but thriving coastal town with lots of
amenities, including most of the major island banks, a tourist office, and a
picturesque square with plenty of tavernas and restaurants.  Close by is the
pretty harbour village of Latchi with plenty of fish restaurants for you to try
the local catch.
